How do you make sure that products arrive always on time especially during special holidays (e.g. Valentine's Day)?
Most shipments arrive within 2 business days after ordering. Based on shipping carrier deadlines and holidays before special days, we will make note on our website when orders must be placed in order for them to arrive in time for gifting. We strongly recommend selecting expedited shipping if you are short on time before a special event. 

Can you ship during warm / cold weather?
Yes, we do ship during warm and cold weather alike. Regarding the warm weather, we use a special material that keeps the chocolate protected during the shipping and fresh at the same time. During cold weather, we do not have a problems keeping the chocolate at a stable temperature. However, it can happen that the shipment has been delayed due to unexpected weather disturbances (e.g. snow storm) and that affects regular deliveries.

Can I place an order to be shipped outside the U.S?
It is not possible to ship out of the U.S. through this online boutique website. However, go to http://www.valrhona.com/ to find out about how to get Valrhona products according to your location.

Do you offer same-day shipping?
We do not offer same day shipping at this time.

What shipping carrier do you use?
We use FedEx.

How can I track my shipment?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a FedEx tracking number to track your shipment. It will give you information about the number of boxes shipped, the date of arrival and the current state of your shipment as well as its location. At the same time, you will receive the order confirmation and the shipping confirmation.

I accidentally wrote in the wrong address, how can I get my chocolate?
If you had an error when typing in your shipping address, please reach out to us at info-us@valrhona.com. If the package has not been sent, we can change the delivery address. If the product has already gone out, unfortunately, we are not liable for any mis-delivered packages, but we will work with you and the shipping carrier to try to get the package to you.

**We ship with only the most reliable carriers. Once the package has left our warehouse, Valrhona cannot be held accountable for lost, stolen or mis-delivered packages. Valrhona is happy to assist with relevant information such as ship dates and tracking, but is not responsible for packages once they have left the warehouse. FedEx Overnight and 2-Day
Packages are normally delivered Tuesday through Friday (excluding holidays).

FedEx Ground to Business Addresses
Packages are normally delivered Tuesday through Friday (excluding holidays).

FedEx Ground to Residential Addresses
The FedEx Ground Residential delivery schedule depends on the delivery address. To many, but not all residential addresses, FedEx Ground delivers Tuesday through Friday (holidays excluded).

 

 SHIPPING SPECIFICATIONS

Due to the delicate nature of our products, we recommend selecting expedited Overnight shipment for all states Southern and Western states. Valrhona will not be held responsible for the degradation of the products if this option is not selected.

Order Processing Times

Orders placed by 2pm will ship the same day from our New York facility. In order to preserve your chocolate and to avoid your package staying in a warm facility during the weekend, we will have to delay some shipments: 
Orders received after 2pm on Thursday will only ship the following week on Monday for "overnight" shipping methods.
Orders received after 2pm on Wednesday will only ship the following week on Monday for "two day" and "ground" shipping methods.
